America’s Manufacturing Renaissance and the Role of Energy

Bruce Bullock with Maguire Energy Institute/SMU Cox School of Business will speak to us on America’s manufacturing renaissance and the role of energy. Bruce Bullock serves as the director of the Maguire Energy Institute. He is often cited by the media as an expert in oil and gas and is a frequent guest speaker for trade associations, civic groups and other groups with a stake in energy.
Bullock served on the staff of the Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives from 1982 to 1983 and then worked for Atlanta Richfield Company in Dallas, where he analyzed pending federal and state legislation and regulation.
Starting in 1988, Bullock held a variety of corporate communications and government relations positions at FMC Corporation.
In 2000 Bullock assumed the position of director of corporate communications for Houston-based FMC Technologies. In this role he managed all internal communications, public and media relations, brand management, employee volunteer programs, government relations and marketing communications.
